Simon Clarke, Minister for Regional Growth and Local Government, said the new wave of funding had been specially introduced to get England’s economy back on track, and grants of between £1,000 – £5,000 are available for small to medium sized businesses.

The funds can be used for specialist advice, equipment and new technology, which means there’s never been a better time for small businesses to upgrade their IT. The announcement follows a programme of government support for small businesses and self employed people, including a £2 billion Kickstart scheme which created new jobs for young people. Money has also been available training and support for the unemployed.

This is good news for many businesses who have found themselves struggling with out of date technology. The advent of the Coronavirus pandemic meant that a much bigger problem took over, with people everywhere suddenly being forced to adopt completely new work practices. But the one thing that’s been essential during this unprecedented time of home working has been reliable, up to date IT that allows for easy communication – and many are missing out. Your IT setup should be effortless and smooth. You shouldn’t have to think about it and you shouldn’t notice things have changed…again.

Simply put…Are you setup for working anywhere, on any device, at anytime?

You don’t have to repay this grant. And there’s no financial contribution needed from you at all. The only issue is that there is only a certain amount of funds allocated to each area so we’d imagine it would go quickly.
